Richard MilleRM12-01 NTPT Tourbillon
Reinterpreting the RM12-01 NTPT Tourbillon Extraordinary Movement Skeleton Streamline Watch Richard Mille revisits the legendary RM012 movement, integrating innovations in materials and horological architecture.
The RM12-01 Tourbillon features the RM12-01 Tourbillon in several different limited editions exclusively at boutiques in the Americas. The case structure of the new RM12-01 Tourbillon watch follows the tripartite principle, combining all the cases together. The lines of the movement are inspired by the structural form of architectural design, and the tubular inclined structure provides optimal rigidity and torsional rigidity, as well as excellent heat and corrosion resistance. The function of the baseplate is uniquely combined with that of the movement and bridges to form a technically coherent and visually inseparable whole. The movement is proudly on display with a perfect combination of grinding, satin finishing, circular finishing and high polish. Its one-piece baseplate is inspired by the chassis of a racing car and increases stiffness and impact resistance, and is characteristically sharp, streamlined curves of the openworked bridges surrounding the barrel, large wheel and tourbillon that radiate to the hand-wound movement the end.
